Our japanese friend and gadget artist Ryota Kuwakubo is currently setting up his installation «The Tenth Sentiment» for the exhibition at Gallery Lucy Mackintosh, Avenue des Acacias 7, 1006 Lausanne, Switzerland. Opening: 27th of October. Exhibition from 28th October – 26th of November 2011. The installation got the Excellence Prize, Art Division, Japan Media Arts Festival 2010 and we had the luck to see it in Tokyo last year. Highly recommended!

All six years the swiss federal gymnastics festival invites 60’000 athletes with 100 sportive disciplines for more than 120’000 spectators. With these numbers it is the biggest sports event from Switzerland.

BD Music artworks and Balduin track «Büro Discotec» in the «Design For Music» – Pictographic Index 2 Book edited and compiled by Hans Lijklema for The Pepin Press.

The book presents a selection of the very best music-related design and illustration being done today: concert posters, album covers, band logos and other work. Included are several interviews with renowned artists – including Rudy VanderLans, Jorge Alderete, Rian Hughes, Invisible Creature and Martin Andersen – about their work and their relationship to music.

The theme is complemented by the inclusion of a free music CD with 12 tracks by artists featured in the book.
